Job Title:    Anticipated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

 

 

Qualifications: The ECSE teacher must possess a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education and have an understanding of special education processes.   The ECSE teacher should have experience working with preschool age  students with disabilities. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Serve as the lead teacher in an integrated preschool or pre-k classroom
• Coordinate and facilitate daily schedules and classroom activities to meet the needs of all students
• Assign responsibilities for and work with classroom paraprofessionals to best facilitate classroom functioning  
• Provide special education services for students with IEP's.
• Schedule and facilitate IEP and Evaluation meetings for students.
• Meet all deadlines for IEP's and Evaluations
• Work with other preschool and pre-k teachers to evaluate and monitor student growth
