The Exceptional Child Educational Cooperative is seeking applicants for Speech Language Pathologist/Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 25/26 school year. Salary is very competitive with the clinical setting with good benefits. This position could be full or part time. 

SLPA applicants must hold a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or B.S. in another area with a total of 21 hours in five speech/language areas; 25 hours of SLP observations; and 25 hours of SLP clinical assisting or practicum, as specified by DESE. Therapist is not responsible for administering assessments or report writing, but is responsible for writing IEP's, some observations, and working on IEP goals and monitoring progress with students Pre-K-12. Nine month contract with a salary range of $36,625-$55,225.

SLP applicants must provide direct therapy and assessment/evaluation services to students. Applicants must have a master's degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders and hold, or be eligible for MO-Board of Healing Arts Certification in the area of Speech Language Pathology. Applicants will be expected to meet the standards in knowledge and competence in the communication areas of language, articulation/phonology, voice and fluency; meet standards in knowledge and competence of the comprehensive speech and language evaluation process and also in generating educationally relative goals and objectives based on the communication needs of the individuals; test and identify students who are in need of speech/language services; diagnose specific speech/language disorder schedule and conduct therapy for students who require services; plan and carry out the IEP as part of the interdisciplinary team; consult with students, parents and professionals concerning progress in speech/language services; attend and or conduct eligibility reviews and IEP meetings; complete IEP paperwork for students. Salary range for licensed SLP from $58,000-$78,202, for a 9 month contract.
